Abby Brown LPCC LADC, Supervisor
Abby is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor and a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor. She received her master's degree from the Hazelden Betty Ford Graduate School of Addiction Studies and has been providing counseling services in various settings prior to joining Lilium Center. She provides therapy services to adolescent and adult individuals.
Abby has experience working with diverse communities of people and have enjoyed providing compassionate and person-centered services to individuals struggling with depression, anxiety, trauma, difficulties relating to gender identity and sexual orientation, phase of life changes, relationships issues, substance use, grief and loss, body image concerns, and eating disorders. She is trained in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), which is an eye-movement based therapy that helps individuals address past trauma and difficult emotions. She utilizes several different approaches when working with clients, including cognitive behavioral, motivational interviewing, strength-based, and collaborative solution-focused therapies. Abby is committed to providing a safe and empowering space for members of the LGBTQIA+ community, as well as anybody who experiences societal marginalization or oppression due to systemic racism, ableism, or fatphobia.
In her free time, Abby likes to garden, travel, try new recipes, and spend time with her cat Oliver.
