Rachel Peterson, LAMFT
Clinical Provider Team
Rachel has worked with couples, individuals, and families to cope with hardship and achieve their goals. In addition to her clinical work, Rachel has a strong academic background, having conducted research at the university level on the impact of chronic illness on family systems. Her research has deepened her understanding of the complex dynamics that can arise when illness becomes a part of a family’s narrative.
Rachel brings a compassionate and client-centered approach to therapy, creating a safe space for healing and growth. She uses conversation, empathy, and creative outlets and humor to get through struggles. Rachel believes therapy should bring clarity, increase insight, and offer support in this ever changing, increasingly challenging world.
